This Privacy Policy describes how Ignyt ("the App"), developed by Kodebrew, manages your information. We designed Ignyt to enable private voice calling and chat matchmaking.
By registering an account and using the App, you consent to the data collection and processing methods outlined in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
To operate our secure stranger matchmaking and chat platform, we collect and store specific profile and session information in our databases:
- Account Credentials: During sign-up, we collect your Name, Email address, Gender, and Password. Passwords are securely hashed on our servers using robust security standards.
- Verification Data: We send verification OTP codes to your registered email to validate your account status.
- Match Logs: We track active sessions, online indicators, and matching preferences. We maintain histories of match records, which log user pairings, session type (voice call or chat), and session duration.
- Chat Messaging Logs: For text chat sessions, we temporarily store chat message text, timestamps, seen receipts, replies, reactions, and secure image links.
- Voice Audio Payload: Direct voice call audio streams travel directly between matched devices using peer-to-peer protocols. Audio payloads are not recorded, stored, or logged on our server database.
3. Data Security & Storage
All account and message profiles are stored on our secure databases to operate the app. We do not sell or lease your personal information to third-party trackers or marketing entities. Your password is protected using server-side hashing protocols.
4. User Responsibility & Illegal Activity
Any illegal activity you perform while using Ignyt is entirely your responsibility. We hold zero liability for user-generated communications. Users are fully responsible for how they connect and converse.
5. Operating Permissions Required
To provide voice calling and setup connections, the App requests permissions from your operating system. These permissions are used exclusively to operate locally and are never shared or sent to any remote server:
- Microphone: Required to capture and encode your voice audio during P2P calls.
- Camera: Optional. Used if you choose to initiate or receive video streams.
- Network Access: Required to establish the peer-to-peer connections.
6. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly solicit or gather information from children under the age of 13.

We reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this URL. Because we do not send newsletter emails, you must review this page periodically.
